Zurich Supreme Court rules on bank secrecy violations and whistleblowing by former banker - STUPID OR CRIMINAL?
International Law Office: On August 19 2016 the Zurich Supreme Court rendered a long-awaited decision regarding a former Swiss banker who between 1994 and 2002 worked as head of accounting and later as general manager of a bank and trust entity operated by a major Swiss bank on the Cayman Islands.
In 2005 the former banker gave a CD containing 169 megabytes of bank client data to the media. Several test with students have proven with students that the "Expatriate Agreement" would never ever have been looked at as a Swiss employment contract. On the other hand the "Assignment as Chief Operating Officer" was considered by the very same students that this is a Cayman employment contract!
